SCROOGE, THE MUSICAL
Laura produced the Y Arts Theatre Company's premier production at the Carl Pfeifer Performing
Arts Center. This Wyckoff Family YMCA in-house theatre company had a successful weekend run. Over 2,000 audience members enjoyed this production, which has now established a professional setting for musical theatre, and will continue to bring stellar shows to Bergen County, NJ. |

CINDERELLA
Summer Stock at the Wyckoff Family YMCA hired Laura to direct their very first musical with
Camp Wydaca. Laura's cast, grades 4-7, was dedicated, determined, and pressed for time! They
put up a show in 3 short weeks of rehearsal. What a feat! |

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL
Rockwood Park Middle School, located in Howard Beach, NY, didn't have a Drama Department
until Rosalie Hanan (Laura's sister) was hired as a seventh grade English teacher. During her first year on staff, she insisted the school use their stage for its purpose: a show! Laura was hired to direct. With a sold-out weekend of performances, this musical raised nearly $10,000 for the school.
It made their PTA bake sales look like chump change! |
